The New Year marks a perfect time to ceremoniously transition from old to new. Join Becky Vollmer and Laura McKowen in this experience to honor your journey thus far and consciously set your intention for the year to come. Expect a beautiful combination of instruction, reflection, and community.
The weekend will include:
Sunset and sunrise yoga led by Becky and Laura – all levels
Guided meditation, reflection, journaling and group discussion
A midnight stargaze walk on December 31 (weather permitting!)
Dinner on Saturday night and brunch Sunday morning – vegan, vegetarian and GF options included
Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
Plenty of space for quiet time or connection – your choice
The Marianist Retreat Center is located 30 minutes from the St. Louis International Airport and features individual rooms with private bathrooms, a breakout room, chapel, and library. Each participant will receive a welcome gift with essential oils, readings, and a personal message from Becky and Laura.
Check-in is at 3:00 pm on Saturday, Dec. 31 and the retreat will end at 12:00 pm on Jan. 1.

Laura is a writer, teacher, speaker and recovery advocate. She teaches workshops, writes and speaks about personal transformation, addiction and recovery, truth-telling, and purpose.
She is the co-host of HOME podcast, a show that takes up the big questions of life through the lens of addiction recovery. She is a regular contributor at Huffington Post and her work has been featured in Elephant Journal, XOJane, and The Mid, among other popular online publications.
Laura has practiced yoga since 2001 and taught since 2009. She has studied with David Vendetti, Seane Corn, Ana Forrest and Elena Brower, among other outstanding teachers. She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) through The Yoga Alliance and is currently enrolled in a master life coaching and yoga certification program (RYT 200).
Laura lives with her daughter on the north shore of Boston and is currently writing her first book, a memoir.
