Course Overview

The Bigger Yes is Laura’s flagship course dedicated to helping you locate and devote yourself to your deeper callings. After overcoming addiction in 2014 and switching careers in 2016, Laura created this course to guide others into living a more aligned, purposeful life.

LIVE CALLS will be held every Thursday from 10-11 am PT / 1-2 pm ET. All calls are recorded and made available for later viewing.

The Bigger Yes is taught by Laura McKowen, the bestselling author of We Are The Luckiest: The Surprising Magic of a Sober Life and Push Off From Here: Nine Essential Truths to Get You Through Sobriety (and Everything Else) and founder of The Luckiest Club.

Laura has been sober since 2014, is a certified recovery coach (IAPRC), and has been a 200 RYT certified yoga instructor since 2009.

Your Bigger Yes is who you actually are, underneath all the roles, jobs, busy-ness, and noise of life. It’s the deeper truth beyond who you were told to be, or who you feel you should be.

Over the course of seven weeks, you will explore this deeper truth, stoke your courage, and begin to develop a practice of devotion.

This course is designed is for anyone who wishes to live in deeper alignment to their center—to the place that I call the "diamond in the center of your chest”—but needs the guidance and support to get there.

7 Weeks, 6 Topics

1—FAITH: Faith is the foundation of our work. We will explore what it means to have faith, to believe and trust in ourselves and life.

2—TRUTH: To move forward, we must understand where we are. We will look at our lives as they are today so we can understand more about where we want to go.

3—CLARITY: Building from truth, we find clarity around your desires, including defining your Bigger Yes and all that it means in your life.

4—ALIGNMENT: Orienting toward a different destination requires shifts big and small. Here, we will discuss what it means to align with our truth, how it actually looks in real life, and how we remain resilient through the process of change.

5—DEVOTION: Bringing your Bigger Yes to life requires a dance with something bigger than yourself. A dance of surrender, patience, effort, and devotion. We will discuss devotion as a practice, a labor of love, and an offering.

6—INTEGRATION: In our final week together, we will come full circle and integrate the lessons and experiences of the course.

  • There are two payment options: pay in full ($479) upon registration or pay two monthly installments of $250. We gladly reward a number of partial and full scholarships based on financial need. Apply for a scholarship here.

  • Full refunds will be granted if requested within the first 14 days of the course.

  • The class will be limited to a group size that allows Laura and the mentor team to connect with and support everyone in the course.

  • There are no 1x1 coaching sessions in this course, but there will be plenty of opportunity to get support and questions answered during our weekly live calls and in the community throughout the course.

  • For one full year from the course start date.

  • Everyone has a Bigger Yes inside them. This course will guide you to locate, honor, and align yourself to it.

  • No, this is not a sobriety-focused course. It is for everyone. Laura will talk about and draw from her experience in addiction and recovery, but there’s no requirement.
